Vilsta Recreation Area

A few kilometers from Eskilstuna city centre you find the lovley recreation area Vilsta, busy most of the time, all-year-round.

Outdoor life near the town

During the winter, Vilsta is a perfect place for downhill and cross-country skiing and in the summer Vilsta offers a variety of activities like swimming, hiking on the trails, disc golf and bike riding. You'll also find both regular cycling trails and a mountainbike trail which starts in Vilsta. There is also a nice campingsite, a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, barbeque facilities and a sauna in the area.
