ReTuna Recycling Mall
ReTuna Återbruksgalleria in Eskilstuna is the world's first recycling mall, where visitors shop in an entirely eco-friendly manner. Everything sold here is either recycled, reused, organic, or sustainably produced.
The first recycling mall in the world
ReTuna Recycling Mall (Återbruksgalleria in swedish) is an entire shopping center, where all products are environmentally friendly, recycled or upcycled. The mall is located next to a top modern recycling center where reusable products are dropped off. The mall was launched in 2015 and has since then had visitors from almost all over the world, and a massive attention in media across the world as well.
Events and stores at ReTuna
In the mall you can shop everything from bicycles, electronics, furnishings, toys, furniture, clothes and flowers. ReTuna also hosts a variety of activities such as clothes- and toy exchanging days, flea markets and workshops, all focused on substainability.
Conferences and education
In the same building there are also conference possibilities for climate friendly meetings and a school for studying recycling. If you get hungry there is a café at the site.

The shop Eskilstuna Stadsmission at ReTuna Recycling Mall is an authorised InfoPoint. This means that you can find maps and brochures about places to visit, activities and events nearby, as well as receive assistance with simpler questions about Eskilstuna.
Travel tol ReTuna Recycling Mall
- By car : The address is Folkestaleden 5 and ReTuna is about 8 minutes' drive from the center of Eskilstuna. If you turn off from the E20 (main road between Stockholm and Gothenburg) when you the mall in just a few minutes.
- By bus: Bus 7 stops at the stop "Ekeby våtmark", which is right next to the mall. From Fristadstorget, the bus journey takes about 10 minutes and the bus also passes the central station. So if you come by train, it is perfectly possible to continue by bus to ReTuna.
- By bicycle: It is easy to cycle to ReTuna from Eskilstuna. It is a nice cycle path that runs from central Eskilstuna all the way to ReTuna. It takes about 10-15 minutes to cycle the distance.
- With electric scooter: It is easy to ride an electric scooter with TIER, Voi and Quickscooters to ReTuna. It takes about 8-10 minutes to ride the section on the cycle path from central Eskilstuna all the way to ReTuna.
Rent a ReBuyke bike at the store or at Best Western Plaza Hotel
ReBuyke at ReTuna are specialists when it comes to second-hand bikes. You can also rent bikes from ReBuyke. Either at the store at ReTuna, or at their collaborating partner Best Western Plaza Hotel in central Eskilstuna.
