Old Town
Old Town (Gamla Staden) is one of Eskilstuna's oldest and best preserved areas. There is beautiful architecture to enjoy and the area houses several sights and shops.
Cobblestone alleys and beautiful architecture
The cobblestone street Köpmangatan, with cultural buildings from the 18th century extends along the river in the Old Town. Here you'll find narrow alleys and lovely vistas from the gates towards the river. Alongside Köpmangatan there once where workshops and tanneries. Today the street is surrounded by a variation of small unique shops, salons, flea markets, coffee shops and restaurants.

Tingsgården and outhouse museum
Tingsgården is a beautifully preserved listed trading house dating from the 18th century. The manor includes several buildings with exciting history. Here you'll find, among other things, an old outhouse which today is a museum with special furnishings produced by three local celebrities.
The Old Theater & Fors church
Next to Rådhustorget lies the old theater, which is the oldest country theater in Sweden still in use. During the summer the theater offers a delightful mix of cultural experiences. On the other side of the river, Fors church is located, which is the oldest church in Eskilstuna.
